12. Stained Glass Windows of Saint Flora, Saint Zoilo, Saint Maria
Three stained glass windows crown the central nave on the side of the Epistle, representing the martyrs Flora, Zoilo, and Maria. Saint Zoilo suffered torment during the Roman era, with his kidneys being removed while still alive, tied to a wooden beam. Saints Flora and Maria were martyred under Muslim rule. Flora is dressed in secular clothes, and Maria in religious attire, according to their respective statuses. Both knew each other and decided to give their lives in defense of their religion. After enduring multiple torments, they were beheaded, and their bodies were thrown into the Guadalquivir River.
