Its name refers to the image of San Rafael that has presided over it since 2015. The main function of the courtyard is to provide light and ventilation to the temple and the surrounding rooms, such as the sacristan's house or the baptistery room. Enriched in recent years, the original bolo floor, typical of Cordovan courtyards, has been recovered. From here, you can access a small chapel dedicated to the Virgin of Fátima and a second courtyard presided over by the coat of arms of Córdoba, whose land was intended to house a chapel that was never built.
